A useful quote begins with the property and intended outcome, not a universal machine-hour or per-acre price.
1. Send the Project Details
Provide the location, service type, approximate size, access, terrain, timing and photos or a boundary screenshot. Contractors can include plans and scope documents.
2. Review the Site and Requirements
Vegetation density, stump sizes, ground conditions, obstacles, access, finish and cleanup requirements can affect the equipment and work method. Additional information or a site visit may be necessary.
3. Define the Scope
The proposed work should identify what is included, what is excluded, the intended finish and any separate requirements such as root removal, excavation, grading, hauling or restoration.
4. Confirm Availability and Terms
Equipment, scheduling, insurance, permits and other applicable requirements must be confirmed before work is accepted. A submitted enquiry is not a booking.
Why Prices Vary
Two properties of the same acreage can require very different work. Density, terrain, access, material, finish and mobilization all matter. Greenup MI does not publish a universal price list or small-stump formula.
